Best tonkatsu I’ve tried in Malaysia, the portion is big and the price is slightly expensive but I think is still reasonable. The cabbage is refillable and is sweet, if eat the fried pork with the cabbage together, it will taste very delicious. Hope they will make tonkatsu sando one day, really like it!
Great spot for Japanese comfort food. The restaurant was fully packed, which was a bit overwhelming at first, but it’s a testament to how popular this place is. Even with the full house, the service didn’t miss a beat. The manager stood out for their professionalism and attentiveness, constantly checking on tables and ensuring everything was running efficiently. It’s clear they know how to handle a busy restaurant with ease.
Despite the crowd, the team here manages to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving Japanese cuisine!
The food is delightful, but the service is abysmal. Despite patiently waiting in line, we were bypassed in favor of others who merely approached the staff—an unfair and frustrating experience. With so many excellent dining options in the area, such poor service is truly disappointing.
Additionally, the seating arrangements are quite cramped, offering little to no privacy.
It was not start of lunch time I came. There was table for us. However, we had to wait quite sometime for food to be served. The environment looks ok but it is a little stuffy there. Ac was not cold enough, or perhaps it was the lighting causing the temperature there.
The pork fillet served was hot and nice. Refillable vegetable, rice and soup.

✔ Used to love their Sakura pork, but unfortunately, it’s no longer on the menu.
✔ My favorite is Rosu (pork loin)—perfect with a little fat for extra juiciness.
✔ For those who prefer leaner meat, go for Hire (pork fillet).
🍛 Set Meal & Flavor
✔ Each set meal comes with a choice of white or brown rice, cabbage salad, and miso soup—all unlimited refills.
✔ They used to serve a delicious jelly dessert, but sadly, they’ve stopped at this outlet, saying they’re too busy. What a pity!
✔ Mid Valley outlet still serves the jelly, so hopefully, they bring it back here too!

✔ Originally in Isetan supermarket food alley at One Utama.
✔ When Isetan moved out, luckily, Tonkatsu stayed on at One Utama.
✔ The Mid Valley outlet remains inside Isetan.
